Nevada has become the 5th state to legalise the use of recreational cannabis and it’s not the residents who are expected to buy the bulk of it. It’s predicted that nearly 2 out of every 3 will be a tourist purchase.
Las Vegas gets a staggering 42 million tourists each year and it’s those who are expected to purchase the most of it.
It is still against the law to use cannabis is a public area including bars, casinos, parks and many other popular amenities but anyone with a valid ID can now but up to an ounce to use how they please in a private home.
Already being dubbed as potentially becoming “Amsterdam on steroids”, only time will tell how much cannabis changes the scene in Las Vegas.
Because of the popularity of the destination it’s predicted that Nevada will outsell the other four states where recreational use it legal being Colorado, Washington, Alaska & Oregon.
